Poy Pendant Light

The artisanal technique required to create the Poy pendant is an ancient Chinese tradition that was almost lost due to how labor intensive the process is. The Ay Illuminate fixture is woven from three double bamboo strands that create the swirling feel to the natural patterns achieved. The sophisticated treatment results in a pendant that looks extremely light and airy, though it is very sturdy and unexpectedly strong given the fact it is constructed without the use of a metal frame or glue.
