The Cabbage Tureen by Bordallo Pinheiro is a centerpiece-worthy serving vessel that perfectly captures the organic charm of the Portuguese countryside. Sculpted from durable earthenware, this tureen is designed to resemble a full, blooming head of cabbage, with its outer walls and matching lid meticulously detailed with overlapping, ruffled leaves. The deep green glaze emphasizes the naturalistic "wrinkled" surface and branching white veins, creating a vibrant look that brings garden-fresh energy to any meal. Whether used to serve steaming soups, stews, or seasonal vegetables, its unique silhouette transforms a traditional kitchen essential into a storied piece of ceramic art that has been a favorite on dinner tables for generations.
