Gudrun Leaf Platter

The Gudrun Leaf Platter by Bordallo Pinheiro is a sculptural serving piece that mimics the delicate, irregular beauty of a single oak leaf fallen from a canopy. Designed in collaboration with Claudia Schiffer, this earthenware platter moves away from traditional circular shapes to embrace a purely organic silhouette, complete with undulating edges and intricate vein detailing. The hand-painted multicolor finish captures the specific, fleeting moment when green turns to gold and deep russet, making it a perfect match for mid-century wooden furniture. Whether used to serve seasonal hors d'oeuvres or displayed as a decorative accent on a coffee table, this platter brings the quiet, cozy atmosphere of a countryside retreat into the heart of the home.
