The Morris Nightstand from Jonathan Charles is a refined tribute to classic European cabinetry, reimagined with a serene, weathered palette. Moving away from the heavy, dark finishes of traditional bedside furniture, this piece features a "greyed oak" stain that highlights the natural complexity of the wood grain while maintaining a light, airy presence. The design is defined by its elegant verticality, showcasing slender turned legs topped with intricate urn-shaped carvings. A single storage drawer is accented by delicate open fretwork along the lower edge, providing a subtle decorative break before transitioning into a spacious open lower shelf. This blend of closed storage and open display space makes the Morris an ideal companion for high-profile beds, offering a sophisticated balance of heritage-inspired detail and modern functionality.
